Aim: These follow-up assignments will make the students reflect on certain aspects connected to journalism and "new media".

     

  1. Go to the website of one of the major newspapers or an urban portal in your country and look into its presence in social networks. What tools of attention management and involvement are used on the site and in social networks? Select all the tools and analyse in detail the most effective from your point of view. Would you use them if you were the editor-in-chief? Write a short report (four pages) on this topic.

  2. Formulate your own media forecast: suggest three changes in communications with the resulting changes for journalism.
